After decades of exposure to Georgia’s weather, the original concrete sidewalk was showing its age. It was stained, crumbling at the edges, and covered in a network of spiderweb cracks that were beyond simple repair. The challenge was to completely remove the old, worn-out walkway and replace it with a durable, modern surface that would stand the test of time and restore the home’s pristine look.
Our Solutions for This Project:
Our team began with a complete demolition and removal of the old, hazardous walkway. To ensure a long-lasting and stable result, we re-graded and heavily compacted the sub-base to prevent future settlement. We then formed and poured a new, 4-inch thick sidewalk using high-strength 4000 PSI concrete for maximum crack resistance. The new walkway was finished with a non-slip broom finish, providing a safe, beautiful, and perfectly level entrance to the home.
