This Lake City homeowner was facing multiple issues with their property’s concrete. The main driveway was a messy combination of broken, crumbling concrete slabs near the road and an uneven, unpaved section closer to the house. This created an unsafe and unattractive entryway, and the homeowner also lacked sufficient, high-quality outdoor living and parking space.
Our Solutions for This Project:
Our team provided a three-part solution to fully restore and enhance the property.
Driveway Replacement: We began by demolishing and removing the entire broken section of the driveway. We excavated the upper portion, then re-graded and compacted the entire sub-base to create a single, unified area.
Extensions: We formed two new areas: a 14′ x 8′ patio extension to create more outdoor living space and a 35′ x 3′ extension at the end of the driveway for easier parking and maneuvering.
Pouring & Finishing: We poured all three sections with high-strength 4000 PSI concrete and reinforced them with steel wire mesh for maximum durability. The main driveway was finished with a smooth trowel finish for a clean, modern look.

The hazardous, mixed-material driveway is gone, replaced by a single, wide, and durable concrete surface that dramatically improves the home’s curb appeal.
